Production has been completed for “Yayla Havaları”, a television series created for TRT that highlights the rich musical heritage and cultural traditions of Türkiye’s Black Sea region.
The series consists of 13 episodes, each with a running time of 55 minutes. Presented by Grup İmera, one of the most recognized music groups from the Black Sea region, the program introduces audiences to traditional regional music, highland culture and some of the most distinctive examples of local folk music.
More than a music program, “Yayla Havaları” offers viewers an insight into the cultural values, lifestyle and traditions that have shaped life in the Black Sea region for generations. Alongside live performances and traditional songs, the series features the region’s breathtaking landscapes, unique cultural identity and vibrant local heritage.
With a total running time of approximately 12 hours, the project was completed following an extensive production process. Developed for TRT, Türkiye’s national public broadcaster, the series is designed to appeal not only to music enthusiasts but also to international audiences interested in discovering the cultural diversity of Türkiye.
By helping preserve traditional values and promote cultural heritage to future generations, “Yayla Havaları” stands out as an important cultural production dedicated to showcasing the unique music and traditions of the Black Sea region.
